Resident Physician Research Collaboration

Medical Research Spot is seeking resident physicians across different medical specialties who are interested in collaborating on medical research projects. Residents will primarily provide clinical and scientific review of manuscripts, contribute their specialty-specific expertise, and participate in revisions when required.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a recognized medical residency program.
Strong interest in medical research and scientific publication.
Good scientific English and critical-review skills.
Ability to review manuscripts within your clinical specialty.
Ability to provide meaningful scientific and clinical feedback.
Commitment to completing assigned reviews within agreed timelines.
Willingness to fulfill applicable authorship responsibilities when authorship criteria are met.

Bonuses

Experience with systematic reviews or meta-analyses.
Previous manuscript writing or reviewing experience.
Google Scholar, ResearchGate, or ORCID profile.

Responsibilities

Review assigned manuscripts from a clinical and scientific perspective.
Evaluate the clinical relevance and interpretation of findings.
Provide specialty-specific feedback and recommendations.
Contribute to manuscript revisions when required.
Review and respond to relevant journal or peer-reviewer comments when applicable.
Review and approve the final manuscript when participating as an author.
Take accountability for qualifying contributions in accordance with applicable authorship standards.
