Medical Research Spot (MRS) is seeking motivated individuals to help connect medical students, interns, residents, fellows, physicians, pharmacy students, and other healthcare professionals with research, publication, and conference opportunities. The role focuses on identifying qualified participants, expanding the MRS network, and helping healthcare professionals build their academic profiles through meaningful research opportunities.

Role Overview

As a Research Recruitment Coordinator, you will be responsible for promoting MRS opportunities and recruiting participants for research projects, publications, conferences, and academic collaborations.

Many opportunities are suitable for individuals with little or no previous research experience. MRS provides guidance and support throughout the research process, making research more accessible to students and healthcare professionals interested in academic growth. You will help connect motivated participants with opportunities that can strengthen their CVs, support residency applications, improve academic portfolios, and provide valuable publication experience.

Previous recruitment experience is not required.

Responsibilities

Promote MRS opportunities within medical and healthcare communities
Recruit:

Share opportunities through university networks, social media platforms, professional groups, and healthcare communities. Explain the benefits of participation, including:

Inform prospective participants that prior research experience is not required for many opportunities. Direct interested participants to the official MRS registration process

Follow up with prospective participants when necessary
Help fill available authorship, publication, conference, and collaboration positions
Maintain professional and ethical communication while representing MRS
Focus on recruiting participants who successfully complete registration and join opportunities
