This systematic review and meta-analysis examines the prevalence, clinical characteristics, and prognostic impact of sarcopenic obesity in patients with chronic kidney disease. By synthesizing evidence from published studies, the review aims to evaluate its associations with all-cause mortality, cardiovascular events, hospitalization, physical function, and other adverse clinical outcomes to better define its clinical significance and inform risk stratification in this population.
