This systematic review and meta-analysis examines the effectiveness of controlled attenuation parameter (CAP) and magnetic resonance elastography (MRE) in monitoring fibrosis regression among patients with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) and severe obesity receiving incretin-based therapy. By synthesizing evidence from published studies, the review aims to evaluate the utility of these non-invasive imaging modalities for assessing treatment response and tracking improvements in liver fibrosis over time.
