This systematic review and meta-analysis synthesizes current evidence on the clinical significance of residual ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) following neoadjuvant chemotherapy in patients with triple-negative breast cancer. Given ongoing uncertainty regarding the prognostic impact of residual DCIS, the study evaluates its association with local recurrence risk and long-term oncologic outcomes after treatment.
